What is the EastEnders Children In Need sketch for 2019? – Latest News


 EastEnders is taking a break from the screen tonight in order to clear the schedule for Children in Need  In recent scenes, viewers were left stunned after a dramatic episode last night which saw Mel Owen die in an car crash,  And if that wasn’t enough, Lisa told Phil (Steve McFadden) that Mel’s untimely death was a result of her finding out that Sharon’s baby isn’t his  How will it all unfold? You’ll have to wait until Monday to find out.  In cheerier news, some of the cast will take a break from Walford tonight to take part in the BBC’s Children in Need telethon  But who will be taking part and what will they do? Keep on reading to find out.   What is the EastEnders Children in Need sketch?  Members of the EastEnders cast will take on the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom tonight in a one-off special  The news was announced by Rylan Clark-Neal last month on It Takes Two.  Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will present the Strictly special which will see four cast members compete against each other, with the help of their professional partners What members of the EastEnders cast are taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off?  Maisie Smith, Louisa Lytton, Rudolph Walker and Ricky Champ will all switch Albert Square for the ballroom this evening  Louisa (who plays Ruby Allen) is a Strictly veteran, having taken part in the show back in 2006 where she finished in fourth place  She’ll be matched with Gorka Marquez, while Maisie (Tiffany Butcher) will be matched with Kevin Cliffton and Ricky (Stuart Highway) will join Luba Mushtuk  80-year-old Rudolph (Patrick Trueman) is the show’s oldest contestant ever, and will compete together with partner Nancy Xu  Children in Need airs tonight from 7pm on BBC One.
